Pell City Employee Dies In A 18 Wheeler Traffic Accident

According to an Alabama Department of Public Safety accident report, Jamie Bullard, 31, of Pell City, died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 20. The accident happened at about 6:20 p.m., Wednesday, about one mile east of Leeds on I-20 in Jefferson County. Bullard was the driver of the 1994 Isuzu Rodeo, which collided with a tractor trailer.
Three passengers, family members, were also injured in the accident. Amanda Bullard, 28, of Pell City, George Macon III, 21, of Pell City, and Wanda Bullard, 55, of Pell City were injured and transported to University Hospital in Birmingham.
A UAB spokesperson said Thursday morning that Amanda Bullard was not listed; Macon was treated and released, and Wanda Bullard was undergoing surgery.
